And the drama continues...

Dior

As many of you may have heard there's quite a lot of drama going on right now with Galliano and his insanely Semitic remarks uttered in a Parisian cafe mere days before his AW '11 collection due to show. He has now been summarily dismissed from the house of Dior! Who will replace him? Go to LDN Fashion for the latest suggestions! Personally I'd like to see my beloved Lacroix come back but it is a long shot due to the enormous success and popularity of the likes of Elbaz or Tisci.

Giorgio Armani RTW FW 2011 MFW A softly powerful, clean collection from Armani this season was a strong relief from last seasons nonsensical foray into dark navy cloth. Here it was all light and dreamy with a strong emphasis on dropped waits and long, lean silhouettes. The nightwear had a certain artsy, bohemian feel while daywear remained quintessentially Armani chic. Strong collection.

Just Cavalli RTW FW 2011 MFW WWD summed it up pretty well for me so without further ado: "The fall Just Cavalli collection, frankly, made no sense. First, the craftsy, quirky, folksy, and most of all, frumpy things Robert Cavalli showed were the antithesis of what he stands for. But beyond that, the collection was a jumble of (bad) ideas within itself. The show opener baffled: a pair of red polka-dot pants with purple patches and a printed blouse with a red cord tied in a bow at the neck, worn with a blond fur coat.
