It was all about luxury fabrics and a new sense of refined lady like class at Alexander McQueen. Burton crafted military inspired, masculine (borrowed in the right way, take note Maier) tinted pieces that had box and knife pleats, nipped in waists, and sharp edges. The dramatic pieces were restrained (which we are sure to find at the show) with dresses being embroidered in gold detail and cuffs being trimmed in gold bullion braiding. The only thing I didn't like was the fabric cutting/placement on the bodice of the coat like felt dress...it could have been a softer, more refined, sensual shape. Scene stealer was the astrakahan, fox and textured velvet coat! Can't wait to see more!
OMG! so pretty i love all the pictures so lovely to wear, My primary pic will be the second to that last image.
